Kevin Durant is still the second best player in the league, right?

A lot of KD praise sometimes feels manufactured. I think KD just has a good PR team and really really cares about the media perception about him. Some of the notable GSW writers (specifically Anthony Slater, Tim Kawakami, Ethan Strauss) have noted he reads/listens/watches everything about him, no matter how obscure it might be, and if he doesn't like it he or his agent confront the reporter personally. Anthony Slater has a podcast called "Warriors all 82" that's very obscure and probably doesn't get more than a couple hundred listens per episode. Apparently KD listens to "Warriors all 82" and confronts reporters that say negative things about him on the podcast. On the March 6th episode Tim Kawakami says "KD I know you're listening, I don't care" before he goes on to criticize KD. I listen to Warriors all 82 and it's hilarious how most of the reporters try to avoid KD criticism and emphasize KD praise almost as if they're scared of KD.
