As I gay myself, I could care less about what he said 10 years ago. That was 10 years ago. Honestly the only thing that bothers me about all this is how many people are using this as an opportunity to pass off their current homophobic feelings as “just jokes” or comedy. I see a lot of people making their whole argument about how so many are now too sensitive towards homophobic content. I’m 100% fine with the argument that “it was 10 years ago, he apologized already so let it go” because that’s how it should be but I’m not on board with “it’s just jokes!!!” as if those some of those things are appropriate to say again.

I was beat by my parents when I was outed... I don’t think it’s “overly sensitive” to find a tweet about breaking your child’s toys in front of him because you find it “gay” too amusing.
