Kids of “back in my day” parents, what’s the most annoying thing they ranted about?

This isn't exactly about parents, at least not directly about mine. But I've always found it enraging when older/middle-aged people start saying shit like "The youth in these days is lost...there's no respect nowadays, back in my day people respected eachother" and all that crap. While working in restaurants/shopping centers I've found that +90% of the times, disrespecting costumers are older people. Men or women, doesn't matter...older people - in general - don't respect others but not only expect, they DEMAND "respect". Which, most of the times, is more like subordination/meekness they seek. Especially retired/bored people.

I've had people talking to me like I was their slave of sorts, not making eye contact, no "hello/good day", no "please/if you don't mind", nothing...just plain arrogance and entitlement. Those are usually the people who accuse others of being disrespectful. Worst of all this? Managers that will comply with this sort of behaviour and give them (the arrogant, unpolite costumers) the right of it. Just because "business".
