I kinda don’t care about anyone, and that’s a problem.

“>”A lot of people would blame having too many characters, which is not wrong per se, but the fact that we are 363 chapters in and only a handful of characters are memorable and well developed is the actual problem.

Most of the cast is shallow with one or two character traits that go along with them till the end.

It was, “Why is she here? What narrative relevance does she have that other classmates couldn’t serve?”

This is a perfect example of what I meant, if you remove Jiro from the scene, left her speech bubbles and asked "Which 1A student is this?" No one would know, why? Because Hori barely gave them anything.

• Cultural festival was 14 chapters

And the best thing that came from it so far is Jiro telling Deku during his solo arc to remember that one scene that he helped her with her notes for the festival, what a fucking payoff. (Mirio getting his quirk back have yet to accomplish anything in the story so Eri getting over her trauma added zero to the manga)

All of the students are goody two shoes who care and love each other the main difference is what is their sole character trait.

• Joint training is 23 chapters • Yakuza is 40 chapters • License exam is 23 chapters • And many more

The manga just has ton of chapters that amounted to nothing, added nothing to the story and didn't actually characterize the cast on a deeper level.

363 chapters and only Endeavor, Shoto, Shigaraki, Bakugo are considered well developed on a larger scale in the fanbase (Personally I think all of them have problems). This is not adding on how Hori is actively ruining some of them right now.
