He's making a terrible argument. Here's why console is actually better. Not switch

-PS5 and Series X actually favor 60 FPS now. There are exceptions, but they are a controversy every time. If you aren't targeting 60, people are mad at this point. This is not a normal console thing.

-VRR displays mean poor performance doesn't rear its head if it's close enough to 60

-PS5 and Series X always work, no drivers to download, no bad ports, no compatibility issues, convenience matters if you aren't a power user.

-PS5 and Series X actually have the bigger libraries of AAA games. PC only has experimental indies exclusive generally, and PC has many a bad port. Blame the companies that make the ports it's still true.

-Price. Series X and PS5 deliver excellent performance and resolution for just $500. For comparable games to provide the same without issue would not be possible along the same budget.
