Trump is a fucking clown and proving every day. I don't know how you can look at his proposed appointments, not to mention his twitter feed, and fail to appreciate just how much of a clown he is.

I just don't understand the cognitive dissonance you have be to be laboring under. If his failure to take intelligence briefings, his failure to disclose his tax returns, his failure to properly divest himself, the parade of unqualified individuals he's threatening to festoon the Cabinet with don't convince you, likely nothing will.

Are you an alt-right guy that hates illegal aliens or radical Islam so much that you're willing to throw the country into the shitter to get rid of them? Are you a die-hard isolationist hoping against all plausibility that Trump will be able to disentangle the United States from a hopelessly interconnected world? I can't fathom a good enough reason.

What I do know is that the clown-in-chief wouldn't have gotten to where he is without the enablement of intelligent people such as yourself -- people who outta know better. In the years to come, I am confident you will know the sting of regret, as realization dawns on you of just what sort of course you've helped set this country down.

I don't hope to convince you today. I'm just planting the seed, that when the final realization does dawn on you, the guilt will be agonizing.
