Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm not sure I agree that such a negative portrayal is entirely accurate, at least I have a different perception on those subjects, although I'm not a woman. I think it's different to find sexual empowerment in refusing to be shamed for your sexuality, despite how the male gaze interprets it, than to willingly give them exactly what they want, while deluding yourself than it is empowering, because in the end it's just sexuality, and if we're equal, then it shouldn't be degrading to anyone, but obviously that's not the case. I might have to do some more research, though, maybe I'm more moderate than I realized, I'm not exactly sure where to draw the lines.
