Left wing people of Reddit, what is your most right wing opinion? and similarly right wing people of Reddit what is your most left wing opinion?

Let's see here. Super liberal professional (lawyer) in my mid-30's. A few areas where I disagree with my fellow progressives:

  • Nuclear Power. I've been a big fan of nuclear power for as long as I can remember. In terms of which is worse, Global warming >>> everything else and nuclear power could have been an effective "solution" had we better embraced it a decade ago.

  • Data Protection vs Antitrust. The question of "how to deal with Facebook" comes up all the time and Dems seem to want to "break up Facebook", which is just silly. Spinning out WhatsApp and Instagram don't actually solve any of the problems with Social Media. What we need are strong data protection regulations like GDPR that will curtail how companies use data of U.S. citizens, it's absolutely mind boggling to me that Dems don't seem to get this.

  • "Big" Pharma. While there are some bad fucking actors in Pharma (see shit like Bayer, Purdue Pharma, etc.), most of these companies are just made up of scientists doing science'y things and these companies legitimately help save millions of lives. It's the Heath Insurance industry that is a plague on society and actively killing myriad Americans. Insurance for someone that every American needs to live...???? it makes absolutely no sense and serves to only restrict access to care and raise costs for Health Insurance for all costs.

  • Israel. I don't know why Democrats work so hard to try to defend Hamas, a literal terrorist organization over the country that is 100x better and more progressive than every other country in the region. Israel 100% has its problems, but most of what you see on Reddit is either a mischaracterization/lie or taken out of context. Even when we get to the actual legitimate criticisms of Israel (** with the exception of everything related to the settlements) these things happen with every military when it's engaged in actual combat and are used primarily as a means of pushing antisemitism.
