I gave my friend an eth for his birthday a couple years ago when it was $50. He looked at me as if I handed him a pile of shit.

Stopped hanging out with him, once ethereum passed $2000 his girlfriend messaged me to ask for help in recovering his lost wallet. I told her I couldn’t do anything because he lost the private keys when he narcissistically assumed he received a worthless gift.

Told her that but I kept the private key the entire time in case he lost it and needed my help after a genuine apology, but fuck giving it back to him after he looked down on me for “investing in fake internet coins” and disrespected the gift I thought he would have loved.
