Let's cool it on the gloom and doom prognostications

Not only do I agree completely but I also hate the notion of this hindsight mindset. Looking at a programs record after beating a team should have no bearing on the way you view the win to an extent. Oregon was in a completely different mindset back when they were undefeated and it could be smart to say that us beating them took a bunch of wind from their sails and sent them into a tailspin. Do I think they are an amazing team? No. Do I think they are a hell of a lot better than they've shown the last couple weeks? Yes. Adding onto that statement...different teams pose match-up problems all over the board. So how soundly one team defeats the other doesn't always transfer to how a different team beats the other. We are 5-0 and I think we look like a decent football team. I stay away from judging past wins and focus on what we have ahead. It would be nice to have a bit of optimism around here. We aren't the program we were in the 90's but Mike and the team sure as shit look like they're headed in the right direction and I'm happy to be along for the ride.
