Am I overreacting?

No, it's not, and should be expected. These are by and large idiot jocks who spent their entire college careers getting wasted and banging hot cheerleaders. Then they go on to bullshit low level coaching positions, because what else are they going to do? Then continue making buds, getting drunk, getting laid, until they get into reasonably high level, horrifically overpaid positions with some responsibility. They do the bare minimum, keep their jobs (or don't and fuck off somewhere else), and continue the only behavior they've ever known.

None of that should be a surprise to anyone, and it certainly shouldn't be shocking that coaches, players, and staffs who that's not true of are the exception and not the norm.
