"I like my games to be historically accurate"

Look, no one expects the game to be 100% accurate. But, this whole "well video games are fake and not realistic so don't ever complain about accuracy" trope bullshit is ridiculous. There's a line somehwere and crossing it means you take away from what the game is supposed to be. By your logic they should just throw fucking flying saucers and wizards in there because that's exactly the same level as a 1942 medic that's able to pilot a submarine.

If they wanna do a fantasy game fine, own it. There are plenty of good fantasy setting ww2 games (e.g. wolfenstein). Don't market your shit as a realistic ww2 experience with braveheart running around on the beaches of Normandy and a handicapped British chick thrown on top so it's all PC.
