I'm trying to be proactive about the apartment but I can barely even get in contact with the landlord. I don't have another option for a place to live unfortunately, housing is extremely scarce here.

Their sensory problems are mostly managed. It's just a hard adjustment for us. I have to be careful of things like making noise while I drink or rubbing my face the wrong way. We communicate and listen to each other but the little overlaps just keep adding up. We're both depressed and mentally ill in other ways and they're an introvert.

I can't afford counseling even if my insurance was accepted around here. I've looked at the sliding scale payments and even the lowest is around 70 per session which I just can't afford.
