It was sarcasm on how high the taxes are on top of the measures passed doesn’t equate to any progress; also to the main point that constituents don’t know how to question their municipalities.. they just vote and run, especially donors , expecting those in authority to figure it out while most constituents are focused on the rat race. It’s getting worse and sense of community is lost . I used to be employed by a consultation firm that was hired by the city of la because you do know that public representatives really have no idea what they’re doing so they hire consultants like me to direct them. Did you know the City of LA owns a ton of lots throughout the city? They should use these properties for housing/mental clinics… but yes I agree , it has to do a lot with the weather….
