I owe you an apology. I’ve been selfish. I joined the sorority in hopes of having fun and wanting to make new friends without realizing that I’m hurting you. I told that if you ever wanted me to I would drop out but I now know that was unreasonable for me to assume that you would because you never would. You want what’s best for me and wants me to be happy and I’ve been selfish to not think about what would make you happy. I didn’t think about how hearing stories of me having fun without you is hurting you. I’m your friend first and foremost, I don’t have any loyalties to the sorority yet.

I’ll be dropping out soon and if you promise not to get tired of me next year let’s live together, let’s bake and let’s get a cat because I want to be best friends with you until you lose your memory and I’ll steal your cookies. What are you gonna do? You won’t remember. So let’s go be happy together, you can look for other friends but I want you to know you don’t have to replace me because I’m not going anywhere unless you want me to leave.
