I’ve been single for about a year now and I haven’t been on a date since. I tried tinder at first but didn’t have much luck on there, as most people didn’t take it seriously or were really creepy. My friends who’ve went on tinder dates in Davis have had bad experiences too (getting groped, etc).

Most of my classes are women and the same niche 50 kids since my major is small. I’ve joined like two clubs and again they were mostly filled with women. Then I even got a job on campus and there’s literally only like 4 guys at work. 2 of them are taken, and the other 2 are just friends/I’m not their type/confusion. So again, I really don’t know what to do lol! It honestly feels like every guy is in CS or engineering and the only way I’d ever meet any of them is if I took one of those courses lol.

The guys that I do meet are usually taken or just not a match. I met one guy in office hours who I thought was sort of cute and we became friends, but he ghosted next once the class ended even though I tried reaching out. Sigh. Lol. It’s also hard keeping long-lasting friendships once classes end, and since the quarter system is so fast-paced I can’t even blame them. Sometimes I can go like two weeks without seeing my best friend just because of midterms and stuff going on, so I don’t even know anymore.
