They'd pinch my ass and call me Joto. I'd call them names all the time too. One day one of the dudes grabbed my dick. I said if you ever grab my dick again, I will crush your fucking face (this was in front of the entire kitchen). He was pissed about being read the riot act in front of his Mexi-bros but never thought about it again.

Just some macho bullshit. When they'd push too far with the girls, I'd warn them as well to be careful. I was actually the friendliest of all the wait staff to the kitchen dudes because I loved talking about soccer, etc. I spoke French pretty well so figuring out Spanish didn't take too long (although half the time I didn't know what the hell I was saying).

I let the ass pinching go for too long, but when they took it to the next level, I put a stop to it and all of the touching. I did not however blame them, as they grew up in a different culture. I blamed myself for "consenting" by playing along and talking shit back to them.

I'm not fucking scared and it didn't ruin my life. Hell, I'd forgotten about it until this whole MeToo shit came out. Women are treated like shit, I myself have been a person that has treated women poorly in the past as well. I worked hard to learn from it.

Everyone can be better, but the shifting sands can make activities that were accepted 20 years ago something not remotely accepted today. The norms are always morphing with time, people can't always keep up.
