There’s a scene in Chappie where Hugh Jackman threatens Dev Patel with a gun to try and learn what Dev is doing with the Robots and A.I. The problem is he threatens and assualts him in the crowded office they both work in. Like grabs him by the neck, slams him on a table, and points a gun at the back of his head while demanding answers. Dev Patel is obviously scared shitless and thinks he’s about to die when Surprise! The gun wasn’t loaded, and Hugh Jackman passes this off to their frightened coworkers as “lol it’s kust a prank bro.” haha oh Hugh you rascally scamp you! What a fun office prank, except no that’s assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and just a whole bunch of other crimes. The movie should have ended right there with Jackman being taken into custody like what the actual fuck?
