I'm sick of the arguments between the two sets of supporters who have two extremely differing opinions and who fail to acknowledge that both the opinions are true in some or the other way.
Few things:
*We are not Manchester United that we were under SAF. So we shouldn't expect us to dominate teams like we did pre-2013.
*I also believe(or optimistically hope) that we are building something great under LVG. Much like he did at Barca and Bayern. We won't reap the benefits now. But we could see years of success in the near future because of the seeds the Dutchman plants in the club. We just need to be patient.
But having said that:
*The above points can't be used as justification for how poorly we are playing at the moment. Neither can be the comparison that he is doing way better than Moyes. Moyes' stint was undeniably a failure. That's a phase we should never use as a comparison. We see people getting irked by the Moyes' comparisons when LVG does bad. If people don't like that, then neither should they like the comparisons to show that LVG has done better than the Scotsman.
*At the end of the day, I just want to enjoy watching us play football.
*Fans have the right to voice criticism. It's not like we are calling for the Dutchman's head. We are just showing our displeasure with our performances.
Again, having said the above, I believe that we could have a great season ahead if LVG addresses the issues we are fivefold having appropriately.
