I love my job but only make 35-40k a year before taxes. Should I get a job I dislike that pays ~50-55k?

If you are able to pay your bills and have extra then stay at your job. If you really want to make more keep looking for another job in the field and see if there's anything it there you would enjoy that pays more our just wait until you get your bachelors! My husband was in your position except he was at a job paying 50k and the new job paid 90k(but didn't offer any benefits or time off and the 50k job had health insurance for $150 a month,401k matched up to 5%, 3 weeks vacation and free lunch everyday)he ended up taking the other job for 90k and hates it! He also hates taking off any time because he doesn't get and our health insurance is $800 a month and horrible(they only pay $100 of it) and we had to do Roth IRA instead of a 401k. Only good thing is he now makes 108k there after two years and I am able to stay home with our daughter and he only is allowed to work 40 hours a week(contract work so they never let them work over 40 he worked 50 at his old job)but he wants to quit badly and can't find anything that pays over 60k in our city!
