Removed post from /r/Razer about consumer rights and their recent 50%-off sale that can be considered "bait-and-switch"

Here's a comment from the Razer subreddit mod regarding removal:

Just because you didn't manage to buy what you wanted doesn't make it bait-and-switch. They clearly stated that offer is valid for 24h or while stocks last. And if you know Razer, they always have limited stock on some items.

I can assure you most of popular stuff was available for snatching when the sale started as you can see for yourself since multiple Australians reported successful purchases.

Just look at this reddit, how many comments there are. Now multiply that times, dunno, at least a thousand to reflect people that didn't post and people who didn't go on reddit and you'll get approx number of customers. If you were late to snatch something, it's not their fault.

My reply (downvoted my comment on the deleted post as well, but oh well):

I'm not sure about your country, but Razer has sales in Australia and Australian Consumer Law applies.

Might I draw your attention to what constitutes bait advertising in Australia:

Bait advertising can be a legitimate form of advertising. However, it is illegal to engage in this conduct where goods or services are advertised for sale at a discounted price, and they are not available in reasonable quantities and for a reasonable period at that price.

If there is not a reasonable chance the offer will be available at the advertised price, you may be in breach of the ACL unless you promptly offer a 'rain check', an acceptable substitute product or take other corrective action.

"While stocks last" is absolutely NO indication of how limited stocks are at the Razer online store. The products being available for less than FIVE (5) minutes while the website is down for most people is not 'a reasonable chance' that the offer will be available as advertised. This is bait advertising.

The only reasonable point of contention is whether there was a "switch", where users who manage to reach the product page are greeted by "notify me [when products are back, and in full price]".
