Machine Gun Kelly Blasts Macklemore on Race

This should be the end of the conversation right here.

Yes, Rap music is Black music, as well as every other genre of music except Classical, Bluegrass, and Country, to an extent.

But it has been recorded that people of all races were at those block parties on Sedgewick Avenue. Go ask KRS-One. Go ask Bambaataa. Go ask Kool Herc, the man who started this entire culture and isn't even recognized by 99% of the people who participate in said culture every day. Herc will tell you that whites were there as well as blacks, hispanics, and even some asian people mixed in there from time to time.

Yes, Hip-Hop is a black artform. It formed from other staples of black music. (Reggae, Jazz, R&B). But the continuation of alienation of races just to prove a point is sheer fuckery. I understand that people are angry in this country right now. I understand that a corrupt legal system that is supposed to provide "justice" is extremely flawed and negative mindsets that were supposed to be forgotten over 100 years ago are still instilled in people everywhere. But that is no reason to judge an entire group of people. I can't tell you how many times I've been looked down upon and treated differently for being white in a group of black people. And before then, I didn't understand. But now I get it. It's never fun to feel like an outcast. You feel alone. You feel like no one cares about you. You feel like society has failed you.

I could go on and on and on and on but that will change nothing because people will still want to bitch and complain. That's why I hate this world and that's why I'm going to milk the modern society for all that it is worth before I am dead and there is no memory left of me to speak of.
