What kind of tools are in this shop?

I remember in school we had a whole room for welding, with a high ceiling. My friend Austin and I were like the teachers pets our teacher Mr. Woods. We had finished our wood working projects early while the rest of the class was still working on them. He was certified to weld and I wanted to study so we went in the metal working room.. He was making an artsy side project for extra credit. We got in there, got prepared to work on his project. We had masks and some bibs on. He started welding, but we we're joking a lot, so we'd stop, and start again, and eventually stopped welding all together. We were laughing, and joking. I had a crush on him, so I was beaming that we were alone in a room together having a great time. I thought he looked like the what's his face from the notebook (lmao he did not). Eventually the be rang and we didn't move, and Mr. Woods busted in and was like "What are you two freaks doing in here?" And then was like "Wtf, why is this whole room filled with gas?" and he was like kind of pissed obviously and we just giggled and rolled out of there and about 1 or 2 minutes later I realized that the last 20 minutes were not normal. Apparently there was no chemistry, because we never really flirted again, hahah and we were in there for longer than 20 minutes.. we never realized there was some sort of compressed gas leak because the room had a high ceiling and it filled the room from the ceiling to the floor. By the time it reached our noses we were nose-blind, I am guessing. We were not Mr.Woods favorites after that... little liabilities lmao.

Anyways. This is what your story made me think of. I don't even know how much truth there even is in my memory, as I am an adult and this happened in middle school an eon ago. Maybe there was some sort of gas leak that had you stuck in a loop.

Alternatively, were you wearing a nicotine patch? Those will make you glitch so hard, get you stuck in time loops, make you trip like your dreaming while you're wide awake..
