As many states move to outlaw abortion, Washington state Democrats look for ways to strengthen abortion rights

Thats just scare tactics being shoved around to stir outrage. The Constitution protects the marriages under equal protection via 14th amendment. The justice everyone is hating on right now is a black man married to a white woman, yet people actually believe he'd go for making interracial marriage illegal...

Abortion never invoked any constitutional right, only a right to privacy. It also failed the test for history and tradition as it's history before Roe v Wade was being illegal. Both of those combined fail the palko test and led to the overturning. New challenges under the 9th amendment are going to likely make their way up and we'll get to see some interesting arguments presented and if the people presenting them are competent, abortion has a fighting chance of federally protected again.

Contraceptives have a long history throughout humanity, there was already a case in the supreme court that would prevent making contraceptive use illegal and I'm pretty sure thats what led to Roe v Wade, trying to use the same framework that case used.
