Have you ever had a cyclist roll across the hood of your car and land in the street - it's frightening to say the least.

This particular instance happened when the cyclist hit me (front driver side) at an uncontrolled intersection while he was travelling - in his words - way too fast. I could see after a couple minutes he'd be OK, but while he was lying in the intersection proclaiming I hit him, neighbors filtered out of their houses and heckled me, not him. In the end, I was able to assist him to the curb and show him where the contact was (his fault) but it cost me $850 to pop the dents out my fender and hood with no compensation back to me, because guess what, he's not insured.
