[Matt Crafton] "In racing, where I come from you put a whole season together to win a championship. You don't just win one race and flounder around all year to make it to Homestead. You can do that now."

There aren't many people in this sub that hate the "playoffs" more than me, as I always quote them for in my opinion its idiotic play on words. Fuck it though, that's just how NASCAR is now. That's where he comes from, but that's not where he is now. Now, you can stay in the top 20 in standings, in the truck series, win a race, and your chances of getting in the "playoffs" are basically guaranteed. Not all eight drivers will still be in contention for the championship at Miami, and there's still races to be raced. I feel his pain, but there's no point bitching about it anymore when that's just how it is now. He knew this at the beginning of the season, and if he would've made the "playoffs," then he wouldn't be bitching.
