The asian work ethic BS is garbage. If your parents "worked hard" during the tech boom and didnt dominate economically dont take their advice. My family works casually and I got to be a happy kid. Still lots of money. If he went the white collar w2 asian prestige route i'd be grinding my balls off along with you.

Asians do some much damage encouraging reckless hardass education grinding. its not much of a good plan if every generation has to do the same thing. Let your kids chase their talents, not just STEMX kumon preparatory rat race nonsense.
