I tell you, simply because they are gone out of their control now, that is a sole reason why pak army isn't doing anything against like of hafeez saeed and all those India centric terrorist organization. They let loose by army and now they penetrated deep into Pakistani society, largely rural. They uses fringe elements in pak army without asking from top military leadership.
Now, All India (&afgh &US etc etc) was asking from 2-3 years was a sign from pak army that they have intent, everybody expected that pak army can't flush out all of them in a month but everybody waited enough. But Your army taken everything for granted wasting resources unnecessarily on likes of MQM and chottu gang, But never touched anyone who in past they used as a proxy. On top of that they went full on offensive against India and Afghanistan (Idk why maybe they are chauvinist generals). There was no attempt made to ease relations with India beyond mere talks, nawaz Sharif had been handicapped by army. India tried by offering Pakistan a pipeline and a fair share and all, but army tied hands of nawaz.
Now everything must gonna bubble up one day or another. Gas pipeline and trade route with could help a lot to countries like Afghanistan and sanctions hit Iran, Your country doesn't trade with Iran and never let them do it with India, Iran is also frustrated with your attitude and to put salt on it, public discourse in your country is to have a 'shia/qadiani conspiracy theory'.
Your army has already shown in past their hunger for 'power' over economic growth of your country. Your country is tearing apart all for financial reasons and yet Kashmir card has been played by your army to take a upper hand on govt. (More people fall for kashmiri propaganda {and yeah I tell it propaganda because I been to Kashmir and I talked with them personally, I am not going to argue on this I am hopeless now}. And you know why, because pak army is mainly comes from Punjab and nobody is dying from hunger and drones in punjab, it's Sindhi, baluch and pakhtun who are dying. It gets a little harder to feel others pain, its a human condition.
Power structure in your country in not a monolithic hierarchy. It's a mess whoever wins a round assert himself. And largely because almost all Pakistani do selective criticism. Tell me do you even read your corporate law and compared that with a 'brief' list of companies owned by army, I read it. That was mother of all corruption, your constitution have been put aside by ranks of 'colonel' forget about generals. And believe me just to publish that news in dawn somebody in your govt. Or newspaper risked his life. And what happened? Ignored by public and every political party, who gets power from this? Army. Now would they forgive anybody who did that.
India has been saying from decades to sort out matter bilaterally (yes mistakes were from both sides) but Pakistan army was so much interested 'internationally' that it got superpowers involved here, ab gand maralo, modi has break that moral barrier too. Now all superpowers from east west and middle are here and we both are goats of sacrifice.
