Megathread: Pro-Trump protesters storm US Capitol during certification of Electoral College votes

You have the right idea, but you're not presenting it well.

Thousands of people took part in protests against the killing and dehumanizing of POC by police over the summer. There was some property damage therein, by protesters, provocateurs, and anarchists. These mostly peaceful protests were met full force by police and federal agents? with improperly dispersed non lethal rounds, flash bangs, gas grenades, beatings, killings, sanctioned killings by other citizens, and illegal arrests.

A mob of people upset that their choice lost the presidential election stormed the US Capital Building while Congress was confirming the legal election of the President. They forced their way inside, were met with very little resistance and forced the US Congress to stop proceedings and flee.

It makes it seem like the security of a Target is more violently defended than the #UNITED #STATES #CAPITOL #BUILDING while Congress is in session. Or a white mob is allowed to do whatever they want with no pushback. Hmm.
