Megathread: Senate to Vote on Repeal and Replace Health Bill

I'm obviously late in responding back but that was more a rhetorical question than anything else (responding to the ACA being "Republican" in nature. From a strategy standpoint even at the time it was obvious that, like most dem policies, the only primary thing Republicans wanted to do was try to slam it into the ground and campaign against it whether or not it was merited.

What I was more alluding to was the fact that you can't actually legitimately call anything "Republican" in nature at this point because that would imply they actually believe in anything or serve some sort of consistent policy mind outside of cutting taxes for top earners...hence why none of them would vote for something that was ideologically in line with what they may have believed at some point. That being said, I've always found their blind, hive minded teamwork to be commendable.

I appreciate your response, it appears that the people who were interested in understanding why did as well whereas my comment was at least obviously interpreted by the masses of people trying to now give republicans credit for the very thing they've tried to beat bloody didn't. (I mean my comment ended up -5 and yours is +6 that is a weird swing considering the nature of what I said and your response...COME ON)
