This is just how it is. If you can't accept that women have a lot more to fear when going out, then you need to take a hard look at how you view the situation.

You were doing ok until this bit. If you can accept that posting a single line about women fearing being killed by men, and then saying it "hits the nail on the head" is going to piss off a lot of people and strongly give the impression that you believe this to be true, you need to take a hard look at how YOU view the situation.

I enjoy this sub and agree with most of what you wrote, but getting sniffy about the fact that people reacted to what was originally (before your edit) a massively inflammatory action is daft. A bit of humility might go down better.
