I didn't believe it until it happened to me

Oh please. The guy described in the post is far to the right Republican.

My husband is a Republican and doesn’t believe any of the things on that list. I’ve earned more than him, he’s earned more than me, and we’ve never thought twice about it. I’ve had a career, been a working mom (who traveled) and been a SAHM. He’s been supportive during all the life stages.

I’ve known Democrat men who are self righteous jerks. And ones who are kind and generous. I’ve known Republican men who are jerks I wouldn’t spend a minute with. And others who treat everyone with respect.

The most reasonable people I know are either just right or left of center from a political standpoint. Don’t date the extremes from either political persuasion.
