I defenitely see your reasoning and agree to a degree that complaining over international affairs we don’t have anything to do with is quite useless and may come off as hypocritical, however my point is that alot of feminists, especially those who get recognition (which are the ”crazy” ones, yes) focus on non-problematic subjects in my opinion.

The whole middle east counterargument is simply to show that people usually complain about problems that don’t matter or don’t exist while there is serious misogonistic, sexist and patriotistical problems out there.

I mean no harm in this, rathermore i’d like to show that there is problems out there more important than that which I personally hear from these types of groups.

But who am i to judge? I’m not really too politically involved and as you mentioned i’ve done nothing to help out the crisis in the middle east. So take my word’s with a grain of salt.
