Men, what makes you romantic? For those who aren’t, why?

The ability to express oneself is important. Recognising your feelings and what they mean, and being able to put something so intangible into words, then saying them? You're throwing your heart into the ether and praying it lands someplace safe, but then when it does, and you don't even need to look to see where you're landing, every moment becomes about that jump, even when it's not. Those terrible jokes? You can't wait to tell her because the way her nose scrunches when she laughs at them and yells at you. Those cookies she loves? That first bite, the way she rolls her eyes, or how she just seems to know your hands on her even before they are. These tiny moments in time seem to get stuck in your head like a song and you can never get enough of them. But it's never the same song twice, it's new every time, as familiar as they are.
