LT is a dick in person. I met him when I was a teenager. My buddies and I were at the rest stop on the NJ turnpike where we worked picking up our checks on our day off. While waiting for our boss to come out LT walked in. I grabbed a pen and a napkin and I walked up to him. I said, "Excuse me Mr. Taylor, I'm a huge fan can I have your autograph?" He says, "I'll tell you what I'll shake your hand but I'm going through some legal issues (blah blah blah for 5 minutes making excuses) maybe next time."

So I left him be after he finished his monologue and got my check from my boss who at this point was there watching the whole time. My buddies and I finished our business and we were about to leave when LT passed us and looked at me with this stupid smirk on his face and said, "Sorry pal." as he and his entourage walked out and got in his car.

I had been a NYG fan, specifically a LT fan since I was 8. He's the reason I started watching football in the first place. I even had a Rodney Hampton NYG jersey when I spoke to him. I felt like a kid who just found out that Santa didn't exist, or that my dog died. The disappointment was clear on my face and it was like he got off on that.
