Michael Jordan Donates $2 Million From 'Last Dance' to Food Banks

And?

"Feel good" stories like this only serve to highlight the disgusting inequality of our society, it shouldn't be up to any one person to oh-so-generously provide basic sustenance to his countrymen, the fact we allow individuals to amass such wealth is the whole problem.

It is more helpful/honorable/real to help people without calling attention to it, the fact that these celebrities make these gestures and then tell the news about it shows you all you need to know, pure P.R.

Not to mention the fact that a couple million to these people is like an average person donating some canned goods.

Hey, I tossed a homeless guy a bit of change the other day, better notify the press!

GTFO with this shit.
