Michelle Yeoh winning the Academy Award for Best Actress would be such a unifying and positive event but I'm scared the Oscars will disappoint on that department.

I saw "The Fabelmans" and I think Michelle Williams gave such a great, amazing performance. Don't understand why she never won any awards.

I have learnt not to be affected by all these awards ceremonies.

Sometimes, they seem to award to the person based on the best performance.

Sometimes, they seem to award to the person based on hype or political reasons.

I have learned to accept that everyone has different opinions. You can't expect everyone to agree with you.

At the end of the day, I just learn to accept and respect the outcome of all these award ceremonies.

Anyway, who cares. There are many, many great performances by actors/actresses around the world who didn't even get nominated in all these major acting award ceremonies.

I saw this great foreign movie. It was submitted for the Oscars but didn't even get nominated. That was when I realised that award ceremonies such as Oscars don't have to be taken seriously.
