[Misc] What everyday habits/life hacks changed your skin the most?

Aside from the obvious “don’t touch my face” (which was a hard habit to break), I:

  • wash pillow cases and sheets a couple times a week

  • don’t reuse night shirts – I don’t sweat frequently but I keep a bunch of oversized tees and use a fresh shirt every night. I used to sleep au natural but I’d break out under my chin from touching my shoulder (I sleep in a ball)

  • don’t reuse body towels – general rule of thumb is to wash towels after 3 uses but I prefer a fresh towel daily

  • dab my face dry with a paper towel instead of a face cloth – I got into this habit after dealing with hard water breakouts and despite having a water softener now, I keep this up anyway

  • sanitize my phone every day or two – I keep a spray bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol in my bathroom and soak a cotton pad and swipe my phone clean. I also do this weekly to other frequently touched items (keyboard, mouse pad, tv remotes, toothbrush, etc)

I’m not sure which makes the bigger difference, but collectively, I don’t get new breakouts often.
