[Mod Post] We are taking mod applications

1) 3-4 hours

2) Active between 1pm and 4am. I usually spend a fair amount of time reading here during some time in that window.

3) I like that it's very geared toward actual discussion on topics common or uncommon. I like that people are rewarded for bringing a new perspectives. Many deltas I see are because the person looked at the topic from a new angle the OP didn't think of as opposed to strengthening an old argument.

4) Remove the post and issue a warning citing Comment Rule 2. Keep an eye on that user for a short time to see if further action is needed.

5) Doc dropping, illegal activity, or major antagonism in response to a first warning.

6) I feel that deltas are way to loosely used, I find myself wil some frequency seeing a post that is marked with a delta from op, only to find that the minutia of their view has altered, but the overall point has held firm. Now, absolutely, there is no real way to enforce this, you cant go around checking to see if they really changed their view. All I would like to see an alteration to Comment Rule 4 by removing the words 'in some way'. This means people could award a delta because a small point was changed, but they would not be required to if they feel the core of their view still stands.

7) I really enjoy the subreddit. I think I would be good at moderating it. I have reasonable judgment and the humility to ask a more experienced person when needed. I have also already read through the mod standards, and know how to conduct myself like a moderator.

8) /r/ArenaAddictsAnonymous its a joke subreddit relating to a game, there are only 2 posts there, one of which is mine, so it really means nothing, but I am a moderator of one.
