I get if you think its best for your time but don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone has a bit of talent and when I first started I had very little motivation but I got a new teacher and pushed through the basics at the start and 5 years on im loving it.

Of course if its to much, drop it but once u start practising a bit more and get into it its really fun. I find a good teacher is what makes it. One that let's you have fun rather than focus on awards and achievements whilst still pushing you to make progress is best. And even if you just practise 10 minutes a day or even every other day its gonna show improvement and I find that really motivates me.

Even if you end up quitting piano though I hope you have fun doing other things. :)
