I just recently came back to PS2, so bear with me - Is it really that bad on Connery compared to Emerald? I don't want to lose my shit and reset, but the forums and in-server commentary makes it "seem" it's horrendous.

Usually my experience is the TR (faction I main as) find entertaining fights, but the Vanu Builders keep locking every HIVE and win via VPs while maintaing pop to fight (it's apparently a holdover from their low-pop days). So the Vanu strategically win and we TR & NC keep getting moved around (which doesn't fundamentally disappoint me, but it is kinda lame being forced to go somewhere else due to a 3rd party). Occasionally the other two factions win, but it feels the Vanu are strongest at the moment.

Now that's combat. Insofar as community goes... squadrons don't feel bad nor am I noticing an abundance of Asian Invasions. Is this a scapegoat or is this a legitimate issue (namely regarding ping & communication issues w/ language barriers)? Or have I been lucky this past week?
