Most of us middle class guys( without any generational wealth ) earning 30k-50k per month will never be financially independent in life.

Good luck living for tomorrow while you never know what will happen tomorrow.
I know people wh have lost properties due to denotification of land by Yeddyurappa, destroying houses by by BBMP due to raja kaluve, not getting the promised apartment by a very popular builder, submerge of properties of people living in my village with meager compensation, encroaching plots by thugs and politically strong people. Sad to say we are living in a society where you can't live honestly or ethically to expect things to go according to our plans.
We as a human society are destroying nature to have an investment for tomorrow for our kids and grand kids. The whole purpose of life have become investment on lies that we tell ourselves that our future will be good, while struggling today and rejecting on opportunities that could have made us happy.

Tell me if an asshole decides to explode next to me, or nature brings its wrath on me what good my investment will do in my last moments.
Anyways, I don't burn my money. I spend on myself for things that I had planned months ago just to make sure I don't loose my mind in this pathetic society, and save the remaining.
