Movie geeks of Reddit, what are some films everyone must watch before they die?

The "Here's Johnny" line is from the old Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, which fits in well with the TV themes of the movie. The movie starts off with Danny asking about the Donner Party, pioneers who got lost in the mountains they were traveling to and resorted to cannibalism to survive. Wendy thinks it is not appropriate for Danny, but Danny said it's OK he saw it on TV, and Jack sarcastically agrees, "See, it's OK he saw it on TV".

Later Halloran sits Danny down and says the things he sees in the Overlook are like picture in a book, like images on TV, they can't hurt him.

Later in some foreshadowing, Danny is watching cartoons on TV (which is not plugged in) where the song playing says, "Road runner, if he catches you you're through, that coyote is a crazy clown" foreshadowing when his crazy father chases Danny, if Danny is caught his father will kill him.

When Jack Breaks through the door and yells, "Here's Johnny" it is as if the Hotel is refuting Halloran's claim they can't hurt the living, by using Jack as a tool to murder his family, the connection being something from TV (the intro to Johnny Carson) is happening in real life and is a preface to murder.
