Movie theater goers of Reddit, have you ever walked out during the movie? If so, what movie was it and why did you walk out?

Batman & Robin...

Friend and I dropped a whole bunch of dried, powdered shrooms and waaaaaay over did it: We bought our tickets for an early evening showing, dropped the shrooms, went off for a hike around town, as you do. Slightly buzzing, we got way up the top of the big hill in the park in the middle of town before noticing that the movie started in like 10 minutes and we'd have to run to make it in time. So we did.

Got to the cinema just in time, took our seats as the 'verts and trailers began, and whoooooosh the shrooms just rushed over the both of us like crazy. I went into a bubble, eyes fixed on the screen and blanking out anything else going on in the seats next to me, because everything got really, really super intense and I was having kind of a hard time keeping my shit together. I couldn't make any sense of the trailers, they were just fast moving bright colors and loud noises, but finally they stopped and I felt a little more comfortable... The movie began:

So I'm sitting there, still in my bubble, and the weirdness and intensity of it all is building back up. I'm having a hard time following the movie, but am kind of drawn into it like I can't really differentiate between reality and the movie, even though it's making no sense to me. I sit forward in my chair trying to concentrate on what's going on and, for a brief moment, just a split second or two, black out.

I realize I'm falling, falling out of my chair into the space behind the row of chairs in front, and I scream/yell/holler in distress and the next thing I'm aware of is my friend's face, all wobbly and huge, floating in front of my eyes, asking "Are you OK, man?".

I try to answer but can't really breathe for a second and then my breath and my voice return and I yell, "I can't handle this! This is awful! I need to leave!".

My friend grabs my arm and pulls me to my feet and the two of us run out of the cinema, sprinting, screaming... Out into the street, down the road, all the way back to his apartment, lock the door, put the kettle on, have a cup of tea.

It's a shit movie.
