Moving to India as a white European

Ive travelled through India solo as a male for like 4 months. It was interesting to say. And im 190cm, assertive and a sporty dude.

I ate just at busy stalls, only drank water from bottles and didnt touch any alcohol. Didnt had any problems with that. My hostel owner refused to let me out at night in Delhi, that made me think twice haha. Air quality and garbage on the street was bad.

Ive found the north and the Delhi the roughest. Tried to steal my bag, looking for trouble if i told people to piss off (they will touch you and make pictures all the effing time) and they have a different concept of personal space. I felt like a walking ATM there, everyone tries to make money from you.

Met lots of nice people but it was a rough ride. I would not advise any woman to go there solo.
