What are some unpopular thoughts you have as an expat in the country you're living in?

Yeah I get that, still kinda don't see it as a viable excuse however, especially in these days where a lot of the world is trying to improve on how we treat others and working to eliminate our own personal biases..

If I opened a shop in the USA and had issues with any community, it dosent matter how bad the issues are or my reasoning, it will not be acceptable for me to put a sign up saying "no (insert group I'm having an issue with)".

I'm not American but after living in both countries (and 3 other countries) and seeing the way things work in each, I feel like people cut other countries more slack than they do the US when it comes to discrimination. It exists everywhere but in my experience, the people are more accepting in the US compared to everywhere else I've been.
