Moving scenes in a vigil for Emiliano Sala in Nantes.

Life can be so unbelievably cruel whether it's to the best or the worst of us. Everything you've worked for can be snatched away in instants.

Emiliano worked his ass off to make it to his highest moment, signing for a club in (arguably) the biggest league in the worst. It's so tragic that perhaps his worst moments followed so soon after.

I don't want this to sound like a deterrent to anyone pursuing their dreams. I've perceived it myself in a way like this. What's the point of achieving what you want, if you're dying tomorrow?

It's best if we take inspiration from such moments. If you're gone tomorrow, do what fulfils you today.

I do hope Emiliano is fine and okay, but it seems increasingly unlikely, which is why my writing might come across as a bit sad.
