I had (still have) a pinched nerve in my neck. A doctor told me, “well the next step for your neck would be surgery” and I was like uhh I’m not ready for the spine surgery conversation. Then he said “chiropractic might be something I should look into.”

It was an awful experience. No pain or anything but after years of neck problems, letting someone grab my head and yank it around doing weird things to my neck was quite honestly terrifying and I hated it.

Then I went to another doctor who said “surgery? No way, we’re not at that point yet. We have several things to try first. And thank god you stopped going to that chiropractor.”

Like, wtf, first doctor.
