Muslim groups plotting to 'destroy our nation,' says Michigan governor candidate

I guess in the case of the particular Muslim American whose reputation and motives are being impugned by Mr. Colbeck (to at least try to retain a thread to OP here), he

has had to rebuild the [Detroit Health Department] from a staff of 91 to just under 180, envision how it could reassume its responsibility for leadership on public health issues in Detroit, and take on the city's goal of interrupting intergenerational poverty by focusing on issues including infant mortality, teen pregnancy, asthma, elderly isolation and health care access.

and meanwhile he also has contributed over 100 scholarly publications to the body of academic knowledge relating to urban health policy, social epidemiology, social determinants of health, and health disparities. (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=0RxsP2cAAAAJ&hl=en)

But go ahead and vote for the sitting conservative Senator, whose many achievements include going to science camp, union-busting, and ... doing his best to block a bunch of legislation ... or something. Dunno, kind of hard to find a lot of tangible good that he's done.
