My Biggest Concern with SQUAD (also PR)

Fuel-Depot.

Step 1: Add a fuel-gauge to all vehicles. Range is now limited, and vehicle dominance has a logistical check. You have supply trucks, now you have fuel trucks.

Step 2: Create a location that vehicles can refuel at, put it in-between core spawn points and call it an objective. You now have an objective that facilitates forward projection of mechanized fighting.

Border Points

Step 1: Create a logical menu one person can access, and give them the ability to choose a specific resource that already exists, but may not be accessible to a certain faction.

Step 2: tie access to this menu to specific locations on the border. You now have a border objective. You now have an objective that augments your fighting forces' assets.

Field Hospitals

Using the already planned wounding de-buff mechanics, field hospitals are constructible entities. (But what if you didnt have to construct one? What if you could take one?)

Step 1: Create a structure that looks like a clinic. This is some modeling work, but theres no shortage of that anyways.

Step 2: Tag this structure as the same thing as the construct-able field hospital. You now have an objective that augments your teams ability to maintain its personnel.

Communications Links

Step 1: Since our current FOBs are structured around "Radios", make those radios functional relays for team and inter-squad communication. If there aren't a link of Radios, then squads can become isolated from their comms.

Step 2: Make a radio tower in the game that negates the need for FOB/Radio links. You now have a communications objective.

I realize there are existing plans in the works, but logically, there are solutions that can be found for the functionally limited "Flag Chase." It really depends on priorities, which I have no interest nor right to question, and I don't intend to. I trust the Squad Developers. I speak way too much about things, and its only cause I'm absolutely sure that the guys making this game are smart as hell, and that this game is going to be the absolute best game on the market for years to come. They are good dudes. I trust them. And I trust they have a deep bag of tricks already in the works.

In the meantime, I get to chum the waters, hoping they'll bite and I'll get a glimpse of Nessie, or The Red October, or whatever other mysterious machine they've been working on.
